We’re inching closer to the holiday season (if we’re not already there, it seems) and the deadline to ensure inventory is available for holiday sales is coming up quick.
There are two deadlines you’ll need to be fully aware of to ensure your inventory is in Amazon’s hands and ready for sale for the major holiday dates.
Here are the two deadlines that matter the most:
November 6, 2019 – the cut-off for Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales
December 3, 2019 – the cut-off for the holiday gift-giving season, like Christmas.
If you’re planning on selling inventory for either of these holiday windows, inventory needs to be delivered to fulfillment centers by these dates. Given the speed at which UPS travels for ground shipments, add one calendar week as a buffer minimum, ideally 10 days.
In other words, for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, get your product shipped out now.
